ACS FAQ: databaseplatforms
Among other things database platforms are objects that do not belong to one of the institutes but are used by everyone. Therefore the project administrator should update the information about platforms. This is done in a straightforward way: choose the dba-find-something-menu and from that choose "a database platform": if you are logged in as project administrator you get a button labeled "edit" etc.
Because the project administrator is the only person to add a database platform this option is not in the dba-add-something menu, but in the project administrators menu. Log in as project administrator and choose the menu option "add a database platform" and follow the directions.
